We are honored to share a letter from a client whose experience in audio spans more than fifty years. That he and his wife chose to buy our Anton speaker and Maria 350, and wrote such a strong letter, is a source of great pride.
"Hi Mark,
I am reaching out to express my extreme satisfaction with my Daniel Hertz, Maria 350, and Anton system. This combination has been a revelation. I have never had anything remotely close to the musicality and listening ease that I'm currently experiencing, thank you, thank you, thank you.

As you may recall, I have been involved in building music reproduction systems since I was about 12 years old, having scavenged TV chassis put out at the curb for tubes and components. As I got older, I was able to afford systems like an AR Four speaker system (unfinished cabinets) and a Sony receiver. As I got older and more able to afford components, I went from Great American sound and Dahlquist through a JC 2, and Acoustat X, and various other systems, ultimately forming Euphonic Audio with a college friend, spending many years developing and refining loudspeaker products, which ended its hi-fi days after an unsuccessful partnership with Saul Marantz. I have owned many high-end systems over the years, but nothing has come close to the Daniel Hertz system.
When I first approached you about your new products, what you said was quite exciting and, honestly, set my expectations very high. Listening to my Amber Midnights was even better than I expected. We spent a lot of time discussing your philosophy and experience, as well as my thoughts and expectations.
You recommended I move to the Antons. I must admit, I was skeptical. I didn't really see how they could be that much better than the Amber Midnights, but I was wrong. As fantastic as I felt the Amber Midnights were, the Antons exist on a much higher plane. No amount of discussion or special vocabulary can convey the lack of fatigue, the natural, musical sound produced by the Maria/Anton combination. As a member of school bands, having attended many concerts and ultimately manufacturing equipment for the amplification of bass instruments, I have a pretty good idea of how things actually sound, the dynamics, the edge of certain instruments, and, indeed, the positioning of instruments in the sound field. And of course I'm very aware of the sound of different bases, their strings, the way the strings are plucked or picked, and the spectral balance of a bass. I can honestly say I've never heard any system do a better job of accurately revealing all the subtleties of bass instruments. This is the first system I've ever had that can truly reveal what I know to be the musical truth. But there's way more to the Daniel Hertz experience. The depth and width of the image and its stability are unsurpassed in my experience.
Another benefit has been the incredible ease I had in setting them up and positioning them; never have I achieved such sound with so few micro-movements. I can’t emphasize enough how musical and easy to listen to this combo has been. I find myself simply listening to the music, not the system; it’s almost as though the system isn’t there, just the original performance as it was meant to be heard. The C-wave technology incorporated into the Maria 350 keeps the signal in the digital domain until the power amp is revealed. A benefit I did not expect was that my phono setup improved as well. It sounds as good as the digitally sourced content. I thought there would be a trade-off with analog material, but there certainly is no compromise!
My wife has always been very tolerant of my hi-fi adventures; my uncle’s wedding wish for us was a long life of “high fidelity.” I may have pushed it by busily building a Dynaco PAT4 the next day. During an audition you set up in New York City,
she said she enthusiastically supported the Anton purchase because it sounds like live music, not audio and now understands what I had been seeking for over fifty years. She really enjoys and appreciates the Maria 350/Anton set-up.
Words seem inadequate to express my joy with my new system; among the many products I've owned and listened to, nothing comes remotely close to the satisfaction I’ve found with it. Thank you for the products you have created and for the wisdom you have imparted to me through our discussions. You should be proud and satisfied with what you have accomplished in developing and manufacturing the Maria 350, Amber Midnights, and Anton products. Keep it up, and thanks again.
Warmest regards,
Larry Ullman"

"To Whom It May Concern,
As both a lifelong recording and performing artist and someone who has suffered from severe tinnitus for many years, I feel compelled to express my strong support for Mark Levinson and his groundbreaking C Wave technology.
I had the opportunity to hear audio enhanced by C Wave, and I was absolutely blown away. The sound quality is not only sonically superior—with a depth, clarity, and warmth that are remarkably lifelike—but what truly sets it apart is the deeper purpose behind the technology: its potential impact on human physiology and neurological health.
The fact that C Wave has been awarded a U.S. patent, and that preliminary studies indicate promising, measurable improvements in listener well-being, is nothing short of extraordinary. As someone highly attuned to both the emotional and physical effects of sound, I believe this technology is not just a leap forward in audio reproduction—it is a much-needed innovation with profound implications for health and quality of life.
In an age where digital audio often leaves listeners unknowingly fatigued or distressed, C Wave provides a solution that is as musical as it is meaningful. I commend Mark Levinson and Daniel Hertz SA for their visionary work and am honored to lend my voice in support of this critical advancement.
Sincerely,
Al Di Meola"
