Warranty

Limited Warranty Policy

  • Products Covered by a Manufacturer’s Warranty
  • A 5-year warranty covers all Daniel Hertz products; the manufacturer’s warranty shall be the exclusive remedy for any product defect or failure. All products subject to a warranty claim must contain a defect in workmanship or material.
  • Products damaged as a result of abuse, misuse, improper repairs or maintenance, improper installation, alteration, or modification will not be covered by the warranty. The warranty is subject to the General Warranty Limitations below.

Returns

  • 30-Day Return Policy
  • We accept authorized returns within 30 calendar days from the date the product was received by the buyer or original recipient unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.
  • All authorized returns must be returned in their original condition, including all items and components that were included in the original package. Items being returned must not have been disassembled, mounted, modified, or damaged due to incorrect installation or user error. Daniel Hertz will not be held responsible for installation or labor expenses, towing expenses, additional repair expenses, or rental car expenses caused by the use of wrong or defective parts during installation.
  • If your shipment arrived with a damaged or incorrect item, please repackage the item(s) in the original shipping container and refer to our Return Procedure (below).
  • Upon receiving your order, we inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. If you receive missing, damaged, or incorrect parts, please use the online return process or reach out to our customer service team via our chat feature on our site so we can assist you in processing a return for replacement or refund. We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 30 calendar days for all products, regardless of the party at fault. We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages and all such claims must be processed through the shipping company.

Shipping Policy

The delivery timeframes provided on our website are calculated according to location, package size, and shipping carriers’ transit times. Please note: The displayed dates are estimates only. In any event, we are committed to keeping you informed as updates become available, and to delivering the products you need as quickly as possible." Business days" for ship-out or delivery timeframes refer to Mondays through Fridays only. (Do not include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays [that fall on a weekday] when counting business days.)

Example #1: Order has a delivery timeframe of 3-5 business days and tracking number shows the order left our warehouse on a Monday. Begin counting from the following business day (Tuesday). Assuming no holidays fall within the interval of 3-5 business days, you can expect your package to be delivered on Thursday, Friday, or Monday of the following week.Example #2: Order has a delivery timeframe of 3-5 business days and tracking number shows that order left our warehouse on a Friday. A holiday falls on Saturday. Begin counting from Monday, which is the next business day. You can expect your package to arrive by Friday.We may not process or deliver packages on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. Daniel Hertz does not ship to PO Box, mailboxes, and APO/FPO addresses. Orders placed with these types of addresses may result in delays.Shipping charges (for both original orders and returns) are non-refundable for tires, aftermarket wheels, and tire & aftermarket wheel packages.


Delivery Timeframe

Most orders are processed for shipment or leave the warehouse within 24-48 hours of your order confirmation date unless otherwise specified. Delivery or transit times will vary depending on the size of the package and the delivery location. Small and medium-sized packages are generally delivered within 3-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) from the date the packages leave our warehouse. Orders containing bumpers, doors, hoods, or other large parts may still qualify for free shipping. However, these items require special handling and are usually shipped via truck freight where delivery or transit times may take a bit longer (see Truck Freight information below). In addition, there may be instances in which orders with multiple parts/items will have multiple tracking numbers depending on which warehouses the parts/items will be coming from. Please note that we disclaim all liability for orders that do not meet anticipated delivery dates.

 

Truck Freight

Truck freight applies to orders with large parts or items—such as hoods, fenders, bumpers, etc.—that require special handling due to their shape, weight, or packaging. Orders with these characteristics are shipped via truck freight. Orders are usually processed for shipment within 24-4 hours of your order confirmation date, unless otherwise specified.

 

Damaged Shipments

Upon receiving your order, inspect all shipping package(s) and items thoroughly for signs of damaged, missing, or incorrect parts. Our warehouses exert all efforts to prevent shipping damage, but it does occur on occasion. If you happen to receive a damaged part, please call us immediately to prevent you from being charged freight both ways. We are not responsible for damaged, missing, or incorrect parts after 3 business days, regardless of which party is at fault. We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages, and all claims from such incidents must be reported and processed through the shipping company. See Risk of Loss (below) for additional information.

 

Risk of Loss

All items purchased from our website are made pursuant to our shipping terms, which are FOB shipping points. This means that the risk of loss and title of any item is passed to you at the shipping point, which is when the carrier accepts the goods for transport. We are not directly responsible for lost or stolen packages, but we will be happy to assist you in filing a claim with the shipping company. You must contact us immediately if the entire shipment was not received within two (2) full days of the carrier’s estimated delivery date. All requests must be made within thirty (30) days of the shipment date for any possibility of a claim.

Terms and conditions

Placing an Order

Shop 24 hours aday, 7 days a week at Daniel Hertz.com. You’ll receive a notification within 2 hours after the order is confirmed and when it ships.

Your credit card is charged at the time of checkout, the charges will include the full purchase amount, including taxes.

Sales Tax

All merchandise purchases are subject to sales tax in accordance with the current state and local tax rates for the shipping/delivery destination. Estimated Sales Tax is calculated at the time of purchase and is generally based on the total selling price of each item, which, depending on local and state laws, may include discounts and shipping and processing charges.  To the extent any of the factors affecting the calculation of sales tax change between the time you place an order and the time your credit card is charged, the amount appearing on your order as Estimated Tax may differ from the sales taxes ultimately charged.

Delivery Methods

The size and weight of your online purchase are factors that help us determine the most efficient delivery method. Typically we will deliver using DHL, Ocean & Air Freigth, USPS, UPS or FedEx. For larger items, we will use LTL freight.

Delivery of Your Purchase

For a damage issue with Standard Shipping, contact Customer Care at support@Daniel Hertz.com for parts and service. All damaged products must be reported
within 72 hours of delivery. Items that are refused will be covered by our Return Policy.

Change or Cancellation

As soon as your order is placed, our fulfillment process goes into motion for you. To change or cancel an order, please follow the steps listed below. The sooner we receive a request, the faster we can revise your order. If the product has already shipped, you may return it under our Return Policy.

Return Policy

Daniel Hertz takes great pride in the products we sell and it is important to us that you are happy with your purchase. You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return a product.  If you are not satisfied and want to make a return, please follow these guidelines so we can better assist you. If your Standard Shipping item arrives damaged or is not the product you need, please create a return on our site or contact customer service. Return Requirements.

In order to receive the full amount of the refund described in this Return Policy, all item(s) must be: (1) in new/unused condition and (2) returned with all accessories and parts and securely packed in all original or equivalent packaging Clearance Items are final sale items and cannot be returned unless they are delivered damaged.

Exchanges/Refunds.

The returned item(s) are inspected immediately upon receipt. Any appropriate exchanges, credits and refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the returned item(s); taxes are refunded in accordance with applicable state law. With the exception of refunds for damaged or defective merchandise, shipping, delivery, and handling charges are non-refundable, and return shipping or pickup fees may apply. Refunds are made based on the payment method used at the time of purchase. Please allow 7–10 business days following receipt of the returned item(s) for any credit or refund to display on your credit card statement.
