Because Chiara is biamplified, the amplifier connections are direct to the tweeter and woofer with no passive crossover parts in the signal path, which eliminates coloration from capacitors, inductors and resistors. Time delay in the Mighty Cat software suite enables electronic time alignment so Chiara performs as a point source, completely coherent, so there is no sense of a separate tweeter and woofer.
Chiara's tweeter enclosure, woofer cabinet and plexiglass stands are built with Perspex, a European made art grade plexiglass with 2.5 the density of wood. Hand made in Italy, Chiara’s cabinetry enables superior performance and stunning appearance with designer options to match the finish to the décor of the listening room.
